Poker on the back burner

Last month was my third consecutive losing month. So I decided to drop down to NL25 6 max. I think that in the end I was playing scared money.
Today was a great poker day.

I lagged it up and I won 12 buy-ins!!!!!! I think this is the best I have ever done. Not in term of money, but in term of buy-ins, definitely this was my best pokr day ever. ![]()
EV adjusted says I should be down 2 buy-ins instead of 6. I put the money in as a favorite but I simply don`t win. It just incredible. FUcking incredible.
It`s incredible. Actually no, it`s unbelievable. My ev adjusted is at -23 buy-in for the last 100k hands or so. I run TT vs AQ and I lose, I call AQ vs TT I lose. I run AK vs AQ I lose. I have trips, my opponent has a boat, I have a set my opponent has a straight.
I just lost 11 buy-ins in exactly 563 hands. I check my EV adjusted and it should be -5 buyins. It`s not that I put my money in with donkey hands, it`s just that I am getting cooler after cooler after cooler.
This is insane. I`ve run bad in the past but never like this. And running bad makes me play bad poker.
I think I`ll drop a limit again.
Playing the 37k freeroll of RakeTheRake. 1700 entrants and 1000 left, 153 paid, first = 8k.
I was unlucky in the last pot but did not lose all my money.
When the 3rd diamond fell I just knew what the river would bring. And fuck it did it again.
I am so fucking tilted. I am running 21 buy-ins below ev and this shit continues to happen.

I never suck out. It’s a fact! No really, Holdem Manager tells me that for the past 100k hands, I am 21 buy-in below ev…
It is very frustrating to be that many buy-ins below ev. So fucking frustrating. The worst is when I see a fucking hand like this one:

I am a StoxPoker subscriber… What happened recently about Nick Grudzien (StoxTrader) being accused of cheating was very disturbing to me. Because I watched a lot of his videos, because Bryce Paradis defended him and put his reputation on the line, because because… I believed he was innocent.
A recent PTR investigation shows differently. There is a 47 pages PDF file that accompanies that article. I read it and even though I am not a math/stat guru I found it was very well written.
If you want just the cliffs notes, look at the last 4 pages of the 47 page manual. I would still suggest to read the analysis of LittleZen and Knockstiff(STOX-PokerStars). The author gives a lot of detail and explains things very well I think. Kinetica and 40Putts(STOX-FTP) have the same analysis done but in lesser wording since the author already explained the details twice in the LittleZen and Knockstiff analysis.
I think some of the more math savvy guys at StoxPoker (PHZON?, BRYCE?) will be looking into this in more depth and try to find leaks in the analysis… I sincerely hope they succeed… In any case, I think that right now almost everyone in the poker community thinks Nick Grudzien cheated and I am one of them.
This is really a sad day…
Well I played great today, but I think it was my worst day for bad beats. I put the money in a huge favorite and the fish would suckout.
Here is a graph that tells it all:

I should have won 301.27$ today instead of 18.70$…
Ah well… At least I know I played well… Even though I still need to lower my WTSD… ![]()
AA got cracked 4 times in a row, twice by KK, once by 78o and another time by J5o. KK got cracked numerous times also. I ran KK into AA 3 times and lost. QQ vs AK twice and lost both times. I flopped a set to lose to a runner runner. I flopped a set to lose to an turned overset. I lost a set to a 4 outer on the turn. I got quads with the most horrible and player on the table and he folded for the first time on the flop…
I am not sure I can handle this anymore. I am not on tilt per say. Just disgusted by it all. I guess I`ll come over it, but this last session really made me wonder…
I am loosing like crazy on Pokerstars and yet I am winning on FullTilt… I am not sure why.
Overall I have been losing money for the past two months. Still have a healthy bankroll. But I am disgusted by it all. I just hate losing money.
I just checked my Holdem Manager and AA is losing 94.70$ over 3.6k hands. KK is only winning 20$…
OK, so after my disastrous start I decided to drop down a limit. I am playing NL25 6max at the moment.
I am playing solid poker and I made 8 buy-ins today. I have not been running particularly good or hot. It seems that most of the time I put the money in the pot I am the favorite.
In the 5k hands I played today, I think I only went all-in twice when my instaincts were telling me to fold. Both time I had aces and could not let go. Gotta trust my instinct more. ![]()
In any case, I know I can still play the game but I will be watching a bit more of Stoxpoker videos…
