Poker Tracker 3 card mod (PT3)

Filed under: Poker Mod | Author: Fumseck | « No Comments » |

I just created some waffle cards for the HUD in PT3. If anyone is interested you just have to replace cards-4.png located in C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Data\Images\Hud by this image:

Week recap

I continued to watch some Stoxpoker videos.

I mainly watched Jason Ho’s video on Small Stakes Foundation. Jason has a real good game and I found a couple of leaks in my game after watching Jason’s video.

One of the major one (and I confirmed it in my Poker Tracker database) is misplaying AK preflop. I push or call 4-bets with it and I am often against AA, KK, QQ or AK and my equity is not that great. I have also been known to call all-ins with AQ.

Calling preflop all-ins with AK or AQ must be done only against select opponents. At the limits I play, most pushes are made with AA, KK or QQ, so I have to tighten my calling range.

I have done very good in the last week. I play with a much calmer attitude. When I am calm, I play my best poker as soon as I start tilting (even just a little bit) I play too aggressively and in the wrong spots.

The plan for next week is to keep watching Stoxpoker videos, reviewing hands in Poker Tracker and to play poker.

I am calm today

I watched a few Stoxpoker video. I reviewed some hands in PT. I did run bad, but I did stack off too lightly in some places. I actually went all-in twice against the nuts without even having TPTK.

I have posted some hands on the ITH Forums and I’ll wait for the comments. If I don’t get any, I’ll post them on Stoxpoker.

I did not play any poker today. I think if I play, I will try to do catchup and that is bad…

F U C K POKER !!!!

Since the start of the month I have lost 1200$, whipping the last 2 months profit. I can’t hit any fucking draws, I can’t buy a fucking pot, I get called with 58o when I have AK and the donkey call all the way with a board like QJ752. My Kings loses to Aces or to a flopped set. And I tilt the rest of it.

I am seriously thinking about quitting poker. I doubt I can win at this game anymore. I still have 2593.53$ left in my BR and I have won over 18k since 2005. Maybe it’s time to quit now. Maybe just play low buy-in tourneys for fun, drop down to NL 1c 2c…

In all likelyhood, tomorrow I will have calmed down and will review a few hands, watch a couple of Stox videos and start all over again.

For sure I will drop down in limit once more. FUCK I am tired of the roller coaster ride.

October Recap

I had a good month. But it was hectic. I mainly played NL50 throughout the month, mixed in with a little bit of NL25 and a few SNGs for fun (10$ buy-in). I also did a 45 man SnG (10$ buy-in as well) where I finished first 8).

I recently bought a new kickass computer with a 24” screen with a 1920×1200 screen resolution. My laptop also has a 1920×1200 resolution, but it’s much smaller so I can only play 6 tables comfortably. I can play 9 tables on the laptop, but the tables are a bit too small to my liking. Not so with my new 24” Samsung screen.

Playing 9 tables on that screen is very enjoyable and I was able to play a few sessions 9 tabling. I did not miss a beat and had profitable sessions. I will continue experimenting with 9 tabling and see if I can run as good as 6 tabling.

Now for the stats :
Hands : 20 365
Profit: 508$
BB/100: 2.28

As you can see it was quite swingy. I am probably doing something wrong like stacking myself too lightly. I will have to review this, maybe post some hands on ITH or Stoxpoker.
